Proven successful leader with over 20 years of experience growing start-ups in the US, and hi-tech multinational organizations like IBM, Adobe, and Telstra across APJ. Last 10 years, Akash has passionately built high-performing CS teams and set up practices to scale Go-To Market objectives while deeply caring about - why customers buy, stay, and use more. Most recently, last 4 years, Akash built the Customer Success vision and team ground-up for APJ region at IBM (formerly Software AG) overcoming enterprise challenges around compliance, driving adoption for multiple products, and aligning GTM culture with CS among others to exceed NRR goals. Akash is an MBA and studied Computer Science in his undergraduate days. Earlier, this year, Akash was recognized in the Top 24 CS Leaders in 2024 list (by Customer Success Collective). Outside work, you can find him running meetups to build a like-minded community of CS folks in Sydney.
