Leilani Carbonell works at Nium, a real-time global payments and card issuing company as their Vice President of Customer Success, Americas. A former elementary and middle school teacher, Leilani used her experience and knack for technology to break into the tech industry. Over the last 16 years, she's held leadership positions in FinTech and EdTech companies including: Tipalti, Promethean World, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Illuminate Education. She currently serves as the board secretary for The Teaching Well, a non-profit wellness organization that works with schools across the U.S. Through her organization SIS (strength in sisterhood) Circle, Leilani organizes and leads workshops and retreats for women focused on self-care. development, and empowerment. Leilani lives with her husband and their four children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
